Autonomous Software Maintenance Has Arrived

Tembo runs background AI agents that watch your alerts, tickets, and queues, and turn them into production-ready pull requests your team reviews and merges.

It started as an experiment: a simple AI agent that fixed slow database queries and submitted pull requests. We wired the same agent into Sentry, and a day later our CTO Darren got an alert for a gnarly bug. He started writing a fix, and just before pushing the PR, he realized the agent had generated a pull request to fix the bug 30 seconds after the alert went off, and beat him by 7 minutes. The best part? It was a better PR.

That was the moment we knew:

Devs shouldn't be fixing every Sentry error. AI can. And should.

Meet Tembo

Tembo is a superhuman junior developer: a background agent hyperfocused on maintaining your software with high-quality pull requests for:

  • Sentry alerts that rot in backlog
  • Slow queries that drag down prod
  • Flaky endpoints and gnarly bugs
  • Bad code that sneaks into production

It polls your database, reads your stack traces, analyzes your monitoring tools, understands your codebase, and turns noisy alerts into production-ready pull requests.

Our Mission: To generate high-quality pull requests for your team, reducing software maintenance burden, and allowing your engineers to focus on roadmap work with greater peace of mind.

Tembo Architecture Overview

Getting Started on Tembo

Tembo integrates with your stack and starts fixing alerts within minutes of onboarding. It currently supports:

  • Databases (Postgres, more coming)
  • Monitoring (New Relic, Sentry, more soon)
  • GitHub (for PR delivery)
  • Linear (for ticket context)

It's built for production use cases:

  • It plans the fix and shares it before shipping (human merge only)
  • It respects ticket lineage and developer workflows
  • It only sends high-quality PRs that are meant to be merged
  • It heavily reduces alert noise instead of adding more

The future is autonomous engineering judgment: the kind you'd trust from a 10x junior dev who has been given visibility to every alert.

What's Next

If you're ready to see what a full-stack AI engineer can really do, give Tembo a try.

Run any coding agent in the cloud

Tembo agents execute tasks in secure cloud environments and return reviewable output. Use any agent or model, run in parallel, and keep humans in control.
